Some Thoughts on the
Music Service
Sincere thanks to the
musicians who gave
of their talents to make the service possible and enjoyable. They have
done a terrific job all year, and we thank them.
The congregation (via
the Executive Board
and the Music Committee) sent a floral thank you to Carol Boyd Leon for
sharing her music with us.
Carol thanks us
for our thoughts
and says, “I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciate the
absolutely
beautiful flowers that arrived at my house just in time for Shabbat. It
was a gift that I’ll always remember and I was struck with emotion when
I opened the box and read the card....Thank you for the lovely
surprise.”
Many have asked for
copies of the quotes
used in the service. I am not comfortable about passing them on without
correct citations. That will take a bit of time to reconstruct.
However,
below I list some of the sources that I used in preparation of the
service.
You might enjoy looking at them.
