KB's Middle East Working Group is hosting a book discussion of Being Jewish After the Destruction of Gaza, by Peter Beinart, on Sunday, Feb 8 after KB from noon – 1:30 pm.
This book is a thought-provoking examination of Jewish identity that challenges traditional narratives and proposes a new framework for understanding Israeli-Palestinian relations.
We will be discussing the first 31 pages - "A Note to My Former Friend"; "Prologue: We Need a New Story"; and chapter 1, "They Tried to Kill Us, We Survived, Let's Eat"
All viewpoints are welcome.
A light lunch and childcare will be provided.
Brookline Booksmith said if you purchase the book there, and you tell them it is for a book group, they'll give you an 8% discount.
