Martin Luther King Service: Building Bridges Across Race and Religion

Ken Shulman is a veteran print and broadcast journalist, and longtime Board member and past president at Boston Jewish Film. At BJF, he runs the School Initiative to Combat Antisemitism (SITCA.) SITCA uses the power of film to connect young people across differences, and to recognize and counter both racism and antisemitism. Ken's talk will include powerful clips from SITCA films, and examples of how students learn how to respond to antisemitism, racism, and other forms of hate in their schools and communities. Launched in 2019, SITCA has presented to over 2,000 students in greater Boston, and is an inspiring model of how to forge vital alliances.
