Hope your costume is ready, because Purim is coming right up! There will be some changes to our usual program, including:

- gift basket swap (read about why here)
- potluck lunch
- book discussion of Little & Lion, by Brandy Colbert
- donation drive for the Somerville Homeless Coalition

And of course, a Purim spiel and carnival!

Potluck Lunch (no nuts!)
During the carnival, we will enjoy a potluck lunch. Please bring a brunch food to supplement bagles, cream cheese, and hamantaschen (examples: salads, fruit, drinks). Fayerweather is a nut free building, so please don't bring anything with tree nuts or peanuts.

Donations for the Somerville Homeless Coalition
​​​​​​​The 6/7 class has been learning about healthcare justice during the past few months including about the specific health care needs of unhoused individuals. Their lack of access to basic personal hygiene items can lead to a spiral of health issues and so we plan to collect needed items to donate to the Somerville Homeless Coalition. Here is a list of all needed items. The coalition specifically emphasized the need for: deodorant, travel size shampoo/soap, and toothbrushes/toothpaste. Please consider bringing some of these items when we meet on march 24th.
